Sunday TV Mass
Do you know someone who cannot get to Mass?
Since 1952, the Archdiocese of Washinton has produced a weekly televised Mass for those who are homebound, broadcast from the Crypt Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
It is a wonderful ministry for those members of our Catholic family who are unable to be physically present with a local worshiping community for the Sunday Eucharistic Liturgy.
The Mass airs every Sunday at 10:30am on WDCW-50.

St. John's Summer Program 2017
St. John's Summer Program, SOMD's largest summer camp, will open online registration on Sunday, March 5th at 1:00pm.
This year's new classes include First Responders, Cake Boss, Superheroes Camp, Going Viral, Upcycling Fashion Design and Inventor’s Battleground, among others, as well as many favorites from last year.
The Program's goal is to help our children grow in knowledge and love of Christ and our Catholic faith, while enjoying an amazing summer with young, strong Catholic role models as instructors.
We open every day with song and prayer and Fridays with Mass.

Lenten Events:
Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence. All other Fridays are days of abstinence only.
Adoration will be held every Friday during Lent except Good Friday following the 9:00am morning Mass.
Stations of the Cross are at 7:00pm on Friday evenings.
The Light Is On For You confessions will be heard on Wednesday eveningss at 6:00pm.
Bible Study on Wednesday evenings beginning March 8th at 7:00pm in the sacristy. The Novena of Grace to St. Francis Xavier will be March 4th-March 12th at 7:00pm each week night and after all Masses on weekends and after weekday Masses.
Adult Faith Formation will be on Fridays, March 3rd-March 31st at 11:00am in the sacristy. The first topic will be on "Forgiveness".

The next Southern Maryland Mass with Healing Prayers
will be Monday, March 20th, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lexington Park.
Confessions will start at 6:30pm and the Mass will begin at 7:00pm followed by healing prayers.

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a Spring Craft Show
on Sunday, April 9th from 10:00am- 3:00pm.
There are over 90 Craft Vendors. There will be a variety of hand made merchandise available such as: floral decorations, ceramics, pottery, glass, jewelry, and much more.
The Ladies Auxiliary will be selling stuffed ham by the pound as well as stuffed ham and chicken salad sandwiches plus many other food items.
There will be a $300 VISA gift card raffled off as well as a bake table.
All proceeds from the Craft Show will benefit the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department.

2017 Annual Jubilarian Mass
Cardinal Donald Wuerl will celebrate the annual Jubilarian Mass honoring couples married 25 thru 51+ years on Sunday, June 25th, at 2:00pm at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
Please call the parish office or use forms in the back of church to register.
Names of Jubilarian need to be turned in to the parish office by Monday, April 24th.

St. Aloysius Church is hosting a four-part Lenten series entitled "Making Time for Easter" on Tuesdays,
February 28th, March 14th, 28th, and April 11th at 7:00pm.
Each evening will include Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, a twenty-minute spiritual reflection by Director of Religious Education Leonard Wathen, and opportunities for Confession with Fr. David Beaubien.

Women's Study
Tuesday evenings 7:00pm- 9:00pm starting October 4th in St. Michael's sacristy.
Please come join other women and encounter the love that God, the Father has for you.
This is a powerful Catholic study for the imperfect woman seeking holiness in an imperfect world. The 25 week study will include a video lecture by Johnnette Benkovic, host of the EWTN show, "The Abundant Life", and large and small group discussions.
Each Tuesday, we will meet two great women saints, receive wisdom from Holy Mother Church, unpack the life-changing wisdom of Holy Scripture, and discover how the Blessed Virgin Mary is an exemplar of discipleship and the pathway to her Son, Jesus Christ and the heart of the Father.
