Sunday TV Mass
Do you know someone who cannot get to Mass?
Since 1952, the Archdiocese of Washinton has produced a weekly televised Mass for those who are homebound, broadcast from the Crypt Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
It is a wonderful ministry for those members of our Catholic family who are unable to be physically present with a local worshiping community for the Sunday Eucharistic Liturgy.
The Mass airs every Sunday at 10:30am on WDCW-50.

Annual All Craft Show
Hollywood Firehouse Social Hall,
Sunday, November 19th from 10:00am- 3:00pm.

Rhythm & Riches event
The Archangel Scholarship Foundation, supporting St. Michael's School, will again be sponsoring the Rhythm & Riches event.
It will be held on Friday, October 20th at the Hollywood Fire Department and doors open at 5:00pm.
Music, games, cash prizes and much more.

The American Heritage Girls Troop 2014 are requesting donations for their Operation Christmas Child shoebox service project.
There will be a collection box and flyers in the back of the church through November 5th.

Kalnasy Concert Series - 2017/18 Season
The 3rd season of the Kalnasy Concert Series opens with the Southern Maryland Community Gospel Choir.
Their concert is Sunday, August 20, at 3:00 at St. Aloysius in Leonardtown.
The SMCGC is under the direction of Mrs. Sherri Fenwick. The theme for this energy-filled concert is, "I Feel the Spirit."
Admission is free. Donations are accepted.
All Kalnasy Concert Series events are free and open to individuals and families of all religious denominations and abilities.

Inviting All Girls-
The American Heritage Girls is a Christian-based scouting-like organization.
The organization has more than 43,000 members with troops in all 50 states. American Heritage Girls is the premier national character development organization for girls ages 5 to 18 that embraces Christian values and encourages family involvement.
Our local troup 2014 meets at SMS twice a month on Monday evenings from 6:00pm-8:00pm,
along with additional field trips and events throughout the year. The 2017 kick-off and registration meeting will be on Monday, September 11th.
Our first event will be a bring-a-friend hike at Flag Ponds on September 30th from 9:00am-11:00am.

Theology Over Dinner

The travel club of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Solomons is hosting an information event at noon on October 15th about the next Oberammergau Passion play.
The play, performed once every decade, will next be performed in 2020 and the travel club is holding space on 2 separate dates.

Ridge Rescue Squad Auxiliary Breakfast
on Sunday, October 29th,
8:30am-11:00am at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Ridge.
Cost is $10.00.
Also, the auxiliary is holding a Holloween Dance on Friday, October 27th from 8:00pm to Midnight at the K.C. Hall.
