Sunday TV Mass--Do you know someone who cannot get to Mass?
Please tell them about the Sunday TV Mass, which is produced by the Archdiocese of Washington and taped in the Crypt Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. It is a wonderful ministry for those members of our Catholic family who are unable to be physically present with a local worshiping community for the Sunday Eucharistic Liturgy.
The Mass airs every Sunday at 10:30am on WDCW-50. (Sometimes with our own Deacon Jim Dominic)

Sunday Youth Group at IHM meets as usual today January 25 and next week, but will not meet February 8th due to Mount 2000 retreat.

Women of Faith Prayer Breakfast
Saturday, February 21st beginning at 8:30am at Café des Artistes in Leonardtown.
Our speaker, Peggy Menard, has a servant's heart and enjoys helping those in need! Come and hear the many facets of Peggy’s faith filled journey!

Annual Gathering of the Pastoral Musicians of Southern Maryland
Saturday, January 24th from 11:30am-2:30pm at the home of Ann Duchesne on Breton Bay.
The topic will be Sacraments & Song. 2015 marks the 11th year that Musicians of Southern Maryland have gathered at the Duchesne Home at the end of January.
This year we’ll consider the importance of music in the celebration of Sacraments and other liturgies, especially funerals.

Meet Mary at the Women's Museum--The Virgin Mary has been one of the most iconic and popular subjects in Western art for millennia.
More than 60 stunning depictions of Mary will be housed temporary at Washington, D.C.'s National Museum of Women in the Arts.
The exhibition Picturing Mary: Woman, Mother, Idea shows the many aspects of Mary.

Youth Rally Mass before March for Life, January 22nd

Swing and Ballroom Dance--Saturday, January 17th at Little Flower School Gym.
Lessons are from 7:00pm-8:00pm and the dance from 8:00pm- 11:00pm.
A good faith donation is requested. There will be no 50/50 raffle.
For those interested in dressing up, the dance theme will be a winter ball.

World Youth Day--St. Mary's Ryken High School students have the opportunity to go to World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland in July 2016. Students will follow the Footsteps of Saint Pope John Paul II, visiting his hometown and all of the places important in his life before becoming Pope. We will then welcome Pope Francis to Krakow and spend four days celebrating our rich Catholic faith with him and tens of thousands of catholic youth from all over the world.
This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity and students will make memories that last a lifetime.
The cost of the trip in $4000.00 for round-trip airfare, four-star hotel accommodations, World Youth Day registration, tours, land transportation, and most meals. We plan to fundraise to make the cost more affordable.
