Chicken Dinner Sunday January 10, 2016 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM K of C Hall

Sunday TV Mass--Do you know someone who cannot get to Mass?
Please tell them about the Sunday TV Mass, which is produced by the Archdiocese of Washington and taped in the Crypt Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. It is a wonderful ministry for those members of our Catholic family who are unable to be physically present with a local worshiping community for the Sunday Eucharistic Liturgy.
The Mass airs every Sunday at 10:30am on WDCW-50.

Thanksgiving Day Mass will be at 9:00am.
Please bring canned goods and paper products to place in front of the altar that will be given to St. Cecilia's Pantry.

Theology on Tap is back!
Join PAXCatholic the second Wednesday of each month at Olde Town Pub in Leonardtown for a night of fellowship with your peers.
PAXCatholic is a regional young adult ministry welcoming all young adults aged 21-39.
ToT Happy Hour starts at 6pm with a talk by a guest speaker starting at 7pm.

Knights of Columbus
Our Next chicken dinner is Sunday, Jan 10th from noon -5:00pm.
Bingo will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21st doors open at 5:30pm.
Christmas cards are in the back of the church for you to sign or write a note to deployed soldiers for “The Patriotic Card Program”.
They will be picked up and mailed to a base before Christmas.

St. Michael's Ladies of Charity invite you to join us at our annual Ladies Day of Prayer,
Monday, November 30th, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
The day begins at 9:15am with coffee and donuts.
Area priests will give four short talks during the day.
Bring a brown bag lunch. Drinks and desserts will be provided.
Mass celebrated at noon, Rosary prayed.
Confessions available.
Adjourn at 2:30pm.
Please come and invite your friends if only for part of the day.
It's a blessed way to start Advent.

If you have been thinking about becoming more active in the Church after a time away, we want you to join us for LANDINGS. This 10-week program offers a "safe place to land," to ask questions, be heard, and reconnect with the faith.

St. Maria's Meals, Breakfast Distribution Program
Every Friday morning, volunteers serve a hot breakfast in the parking lot at the corner of University Boulevard and Piney Branch Road.
Volunteers set up the tables and tents, serve breakfast and help with clean up.
Catholic Charities is seeking committed groups of 5 to volunteer at different times throughout the year.

American Legion Post 255 is having a Brown Bag Auction
on Friday, November 20th on Rt. 5 in Ridge, MD.
Doors open at 6:00pm for bidding, items to be awarded starting at 7:00pm.
Bring your "address labels" to place on tickets for your convenience.
Refreshments will be available.

St. Francis Xavier Parish in Compton, MD will hold its
annual Olde Fashion Christmas Bazaar
on Saturday, November 21st from 10:00am until 3:00pm at the parish hall.
The bazaar features homemade arts and crafts, raffle of a hand stitched quilt, bake sale and much more.
A cafe' style lunch will be offered which includes barbecued pulled pork, chicken salad sandwiches, vegetable beef soup, and hot dogs for the children.
Take Route 243 (Newtowne Neck Road) for six miles to the parish grounds. All are welcomed!

Middle School Youth Group is Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm at IHM;
High School Youth Group is every other Saturday, 7:00pm-9:00pm at St. Cecilia's (starting Sep. 26th) - full calendar forthcoming; Discussion Group for High School (Politics/Philosophy) is Wednesdays, 7:00pm- 9:00pm at St. Cecilia's.

World Youth Day--St. Mary's Ryken High School students have the opportunity to go to World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland in July 2016. Students will follow the Footsteps of Saint Pope John Paul II, visiting his hometown and all of the places important in his life before becoming Pope. We will then welcome Pope Francis to Krakow and spend four days celebrating our rich Catholic faith with him and tens of thousands of catholic youth from all over the world.
This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity and students will make memories that last a lifetime.
The cost of the trip in $4000.00 for round-trip airfare, four-star hotel accommodations, World Youth Day registration, tours, land transportation, and most meals. We plan to fundraise to make the cost more affordable.
