TV Mass, which is produced by the Archdiocese
of Washington and taped in the Crypt Church
of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate
Conception. It is a wonderful ministry
for those members of our Catholic family who are
unable to be physically present with a local worshiping
community for the Sunday Eucharistic Liturgy.
The Mass airs every Sunday at 10:30am on

Songs of Joy! A New Year's Journey and Choral Festival
The St. Aloysius Music Ministry invites all to join them on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 3:00 PM
in the Leonardtown worship space for their 3rd annual New Year's Choral Festival:
"Ignite the Flame-Share the Light of Christ." (taken from the writings of Pope Francis)
This celebration of music includes traditional carols, liturgical hymns and songs of praise and worship.
Vocal selections will be performed by the Spirit Singers (youth choir), Cross Generation (teen choir) and the Grateful Hearts (adult choir).
Instrumental selections and support will be provided by the St. Aloysius Praise Band the St. Aloysius HandBell Choir.
Our musicians will showcase their talents with solos, duets, ensemble selections and SATB arrangements.
What a fitting way to thank God for another year and for all the blessings that he bestows on us!
The concert is free
, but guests are encouraged to bring canned food items or a small cash donation to benefit the Helping Hands Food Bank.
All are invited to come and enjoy a casual afternoon of praise.

World Youth Day-
-St. Mary's Ryken High School
students have the opportunity to go to World
Youth Day in Krakow, Poland in July 2016. Students
will follow the Footsteps of Saint Pope John Paul
II, visiting his hometown and all of the places
important in his life before becoming Pope. We
will then welcome Pope Francis to Krakow and
spend four days celebrating our rich Catholic faith
with him and tens of thousands of catholic youth
from all over the world.
